Trombonist Bart Lust plays lead with the New Cool Collective and with Fra Fra Sound. He sits in with among others the Metropole Orchestra and the Jazz Orchestra of the Concergebouw. Bart is a key contributing composer to the repertoire of the Sextet. He graduated from the Hilversum Conservatory. He studied with Bart van Lier, Slide Hampton, Steve Turre, Jimmy Knepper, and Conrad Herwich. He has played many times in the North Sea Jazz Festival.
