Ronald de Vries graduated from the Hilversum Conservatory as a classical musician. He is also well-versed in light and jazz music. He worked with several classical orchestras doing radiowork in Hilversum, including the Metropole Orchestra with which he accompanied many jazz-giants from home and abroad.
